Kahu Over Awa on silver chain
We found this beautiful blue botryodial pounamu some time back and knew it was destined for something special. One day as we sat at the awa the inspiration came, its the bubbling awa! And as we sat watching Kahu soar over head, well it all just “flowed” after that.
Every piece of this necklace, every link in that chain, is entirely handmade by us(apart from the pounamu of course, Papatūānuku did that!). We made a safety catch at the top so there is no risk of it falling from your neck without your permission.
This bubbly botryodial pounamu is a rare find, especially in this spectacular sky blue. Botryodial means ‘bunch of grapes’, hence it’s bubbly look. This necklace is a whole story in itself. It looks spectacular with your fancy dress or just as great at the family BBQ.
