Whatu – pounamu earrings
We found out recently that this pounamu is called Whatu (hailstone) because of the speckled black iron inclusions that resemble whatu falling from Ranginui. It makes for beautiful patterns in the pounamu. In addition this pounamu has these beautiful transparent albite rivers running through it, making little windows of light magic. In your ears, with the light behind them, you can see all the detail in the pounamu. They are absolutely stunning.
I just love this style of earring. They twist and move as you do, making you feel gorgeous. And strong, with the strength of pounamu in your ears. Perfect for every occasion.
