Tī Rākau – Golden Marsden Jade pounamu earrings

Tī Rākau are Māori stick games played by a group of people with wooden rods that are thrown by the players to each other in time to a song. These golden flower jade pounamu earrings remind us of the rods used in Tī Rākau.

Furthermore, Tī Rākau is the Māori name for the Cabbage Tree, or Cordyline Australis. The green and gold of these earrings reflect the cabbage tree colours perfectly.

As with all our earrings, wearing these pounamu earrings gives one a sense of confidence and pride.  The perfect feature piece for your outfit, they will carry you through from the office to a night out on the town. Hanging them from sterling silver hoops allows them to swing and move beautifully in your ears.  With their gently curved shape, these pounamu earrings are classy, classic and just downright gorgeous.
