Tapatoru Tangiwai
There is something perfect about a tapatoru(triangle). Amongst other things, tapatoru can represent the niho taniwha(teeth of the taniwha) and maunga.
Tapatoru are used extensively in Māori weaving from tukutuku and tāniko to kete and korowai and as such has become a prominent symbol of te ao Māori.
These Tapatoru earrings are modern and funky, whilst keeping that connection to the whenua and whakapapa through the pounamu. And if look at the top edge of these whakakai you can see how they light up green with some sun behind them. Stunning You will stand strong and proud with these whakakai in your taringa.
