Tāwera – pounamu ring
Tāwera is Venus, in the morning. It is also the name of Tim’s great-grandfather. It seemed a fitting name for this uniquely patterned pounamu ring. Google an image of Venus and you’ll see why.
It was tricky to get photos that really showed the true colours and patterns in this ring. I think the one on my finger is best. It really is quite an incredible pounamu Tim has cut here.
This ring is little larger than the others, a real statement taonga in those beautiful colours. I hope you enjoy this taonga as much as we have.☺️
