Matakahi on silver chain

A wedge may be small but it can break up the tōtara into fragments.

As this whakatauki so aptly describes, although small a wedge can make big changes.  Similarly, we can all be like that. A small act of kindness, a gentle word spoken, a little forgiveness. We can be the wedge that makes big changes for the better in the lives and the world around us. This taonga was carved to be a beautiful reminder of the power we hold as individuals to be a wedge of change for the better.

Then, get a little sun behind this taonga and anana – te ao mārama! (The world of light).  And look at those fluro-green chromite inclusions…it’s a little wedge of pounamu deliciousness.

Set on a lovely classic snake chain, the silver really makes the green of the pounamu pop.  It sits elegantly at the nape of your neck, adding a touch of class to any outfit.  It would make a lovely present for either your tamariki or your partner and looks equally good on tāne as wahine.
