Little chunk of Aroha – Pounamu on Hiriwa

This is just a little slice of pounamu goodness.  It looks good enough to eat, and gorgeous enough to go with any fabulous outfit you decide to wear.

Pounamu is often given as a gift to let someone know how much we love, admire and respect them.  Tim carved this taonga so that you can do just that in an elegant and timeless way.  And the person you gift it to can wear it all day every day, carrying your love around with them.  Everybody wins!

Hiriwa is silver.  This dot was so elegant it seemed only right to string it on a sterling silver chain. In our efforts to care for Papatūānuku and her people we decided a long time ago that we would never buy new silver chains as we do not know under what conditions the silver is mined and proceseed, nor the conditions of the labourers working the chains.  So we scour antique and second hand stores to source our sterling silver chain.

  • Kahurangi Pounamu from Te Tai Poutini
  • Taonga is 20mm x 11mm.  Chain is approximately 42cm in total length
  • 925 Sterling Silver Chain with stamp
  • One of a kind taonga by Timoti
