Hauroa – long pounamu earrings

I think these are my absolute favourite pounamu earrings from Tim’s creations.  The length, the colour, the way they slim out at the top to give them depth as the light shines through.  They are just stunning.  I tried them out just to make sure they aren’t annoying, and they definitely are not. They sit gently on your clavicle, so you feel their presence as you move and talk but not in an annoying way. In a way that makes you feel strong and graceful and connected to your tupuna. I loved wearing them so much I ordered a pair too, lucky I know the carver eh!😉

These earrings are a nod to our tupuna, they were never shy with their pounamu adornments. They wore large taonga with pride, and they were stunning with it.  These long pounamu earrings are perfect for those special occasions, weddings, a fancy dinner, important hui, graduation. But you could also rock them at the supermarket, take your tupuna energy with you as you go about your daily business.
